XpertAcademy Cancellation and Refunds Policy

Version XA-CANCEL-1.0. Effective 4 August 2026.

1. Scope

This policy applies to direct retail purchases of CPD Event A and CPD Event B through xpertacademy.com. It does not reduce any mandatory right or remedy.

2. Your 14-day cancellation right

Where you are acting as a consumer and the statutory right applies, you may cancel the contract within 14 days without giving a reason. The cancellation period starts on the day the contract is concluded.

To cancel, send an unequivocal statement before the cancellation period ends by email to academy@xpertdpo.com or by post to XpertAcademy, XpertDPO Limited, 20 Harcourt Street, Dublin 2, D02 H364, Ireland.

You may use the model form below, but you do not have to. Please include your name, order number, purchase email address and the event being cancelled so we can identify the order. Do not send a password or full payment-card details.

We will acknowledge an electronic cancellation on a durable medium, normally by email, without delay.

3. Immediate access during the cancellation period

If you ask us to provide access before the 14-day period ends, for digital content supplied immediately you acknowledge that you may lose the right to cancel once supply begins, where all legal conditions are met. For an ongoing digital or training service, if you cancel before the service is fully performed you may have to pay a reasonable amount proportionate to the service supplied before cancellation. You do not lose statutory remedies for content or a service that is faulty, not supplied, not as described or otherwise does not conform to the contract.

Where a proportionate payment is legally due for an ongoing service supplied before cancellation, it will be a reasonable amount based on the service actually supplied. We will explain the calculation and will not charge more than applicable law permits.

4. Refund timing and method

Where a refund is due following cancellation, we will make it without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we are informed of the cancellation. We will use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise. We will not charge a refund fee.

A completed full refund terminates future access to the refunded event. It does not affect access to another event bought separately.

5. Problems with a course

The 14-day cancellation rules are separate from your rights where a course is faulty, not supplied, not as described or does not conform to the contract. Contact academy@xpertdpo.com. Depending on the issue, the remedy may include repair, restored or extended access, a price reduction, termination or refund.

6. After the cancellation period

We do not offer an additional discretionary change-of-mind refund after the applicable statutory cancellation period. This does not affect statutory rights, an agreed commercial remedy, or a separate written organisation/client contract.

7. Model cancellation form

Complete and return this form only if you wish to cancel the contract.
